Even Sportacus needs a bit of help from time to time, so as a parent, you can play a big part in keeping your son or daughter healthy.
Encourage them to be active rather than sitting around, watching TV. Getting them to wear their pedometer will only keep them focused on increasing the number of steps they take.
You could try making up some games for them involving running, skipping or jumping.
To give you a hand and encourage children to make healthier food choices we're continuing our partnership with ‘LazyTown's above-average hero - Sportacus!'
Throughout 2010 Sportacus is giving a big thumbs-up to Asda's fab value Great Stuff range for kids. Great Stuff is free from artificial colours and flavours, and hydrogenated fats. It is also specially designed to be enjoyed by kids.
Look out for our Great Stuff products like pre-packaged bags of fruit and veg – perfect for snacking or lunch boxes.
There are also loads of great recipes you can follow to make sure your son or daughter gets balanced meals and the all-important five fruit or veg a day. See below for some Top Tips and downloads to help make fruit and veg fun and interactive. |
