Great Stuff is Asda's healthy food and drink brand specifically designed for children. As the name suggests, this brand is great – for kids and mums.
Kids love it because it tastes good and because of the appealing, colourful packaging. Mums love it because it's healthy and affordable.
The Great Stuff range is aimed at kids aged from 1 to 7 years old and has lots of their favourites, from healthy snacks like fruity cereal bars and dried fruit, to mini pitta breads, yogurts and drinks.
There are fresh fruit snack packs, perfect for lunchboxes, and bags of apples or clementines, at just the right size for kids' smaller appetites.
We know that mums want to feed their kids healthily but don't always have time to cook from scratch. For busy days when there really isn't time, you can reach for a Great Stuff meal, knowing you're doing the right thing for your children.
They're smaller than standard prepared meals and lower in calories, sugar, fat, saturated fat and salt.
Mums have been telling us that they want to see simple recipes so we're working on making food that is closer to what you cook at home.
It's also important to us that we literally put some “great stuff” into our food which is why most of our meals contain enough veg to provide one of your kids' 5-a-day.
Easter 2009 saw Great Stuff link up with healthy superhero, Sportacus, from children's TV phenomenon, LazyTown. The Icelandic creator of LazyTown, Magnus Scheving, said, “LazyTown's mission is to move the world and inspire children to eat healthy food and move through play.
The healthy food option needs to be affordable, fun and easy for everyone. Asda has shown that this is possible through their Great Stuff range.”
Asda believes that its Great Stuff products can make mums' lives a lot easier by making good, healthy food more affordable and accessible – and more fun for kids!
